Like many distribution companies, its real work happens far from any office: sales reps visiting farms and pharmacies, vans carrying stock between warehouses, cash collected on the road, and approvals needed while the manager is somewhere else entirely. Running that on paper and phone calls puts a ceiling on how far the business can grow.

Classic ERP systems assume someone sitting in front of a screen in the back office. A One Vet's team needed the opposite: the invoice is created at the customer's door, the stock question is answered from the van, and the payment is recorded the moment cash changes hands. So we designed the system mobile-first — the Flutter app is not a companion to the ERP; it is the ERP for everyone in the field.
What the mobile app covers
The app grew into a full operations suite: orders and invoicing with a cart flow reps already understand, purchase invoices, sales returns, warehouse and stock views, transfer requests between warehouses and between companies, cash collections, expenses, a personal treasury for every rep, approvals, and reports — all bilingual, Arabic-first.
The back office: one source of truth
Behind the app sits a Laravel back office with a Filament admin panel: products, customers, pricing, warehouses, targets, salaries, and dashboards showing revenue, order status, and low-stock alerts. Every action in the field lands here instantly, so management sees the company as it is right now — not as it was when last week's paperwork was typed in.
Details that make or break distribution
Distribution lives on operational details: sequential invoice numbering, stock that is deducted only when an invoice is approved and restored when a return is accepted, commissions calculated per product and per customer, and role-based access so a rep sees their own customers while managers see everything. Getting these flows right is where a custom system earns its keep over a generic one.
